Position Summary:

\n

The Sr. Sales Aerospace Coordinator and Portal Administration- will play a key role in supporting Lourdes Industries sales products, policies and internal procedures. This role requires strong knowledge of sales processes, government, and commercial procurement portals. The ideal candidate must be proficient working with Microsoft Office/Google Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and have knowledge of sales related administrative tasks. Tasks include but not limited to data entry, file maintenance, data research and being able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring communication with customers and vendors-all in support of the company’s objectives.

  • Essential Functions:
  • \n
  • Respond promptly to customer requests and follow-up to ensure completion
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge working with several different government/commercial manufacturing portals, Exostar a plus.
  • \n
  • Respond to project specs and provide documentation support.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of the aerospace and defense industries.
  • \n
  • Understand the sales cycle for complex aerospace aircraft, systems, and components, including technical and solution-based selling.
  • \n
  • Enter in Sales Orders into company computer system with focus on accuracy Experience using GRMS a plus.
  • \n
  • Enter customer and/or vendor pricing into various databases.
  • \n
  • Maintain and update files and perform daily filing tasks.
  • \n
  • Create, develop, and maintain customer open order reports direct buy requisitions and work with Purchasing to ensure purchase orders are placed and received to support customer orders.

  • Must possess excellent analytical, organizational, and as well as highly developed communication skills

  • Ability to function under minimal supervision.

  • This position requires sitting for long periods of time.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • \n
  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • \n
\n

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

\n
    \n
  • Must have 5-7 years of administrative sales operations experience, preferably in aerospace/defense.
  • \n
  • Advanced knowledge working with Microsoft office, Google Suite, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • \n
\n
